JB Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the JB Group of Educational Institutions. It is a private, autonomous college which is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). It has been recognised by UGC and has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. Also, the college has been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade as well as NBA - ECE, CSE, EEE, and IT under the Tier - I Category. A total of 17 courses are offered to interested candidates in the stream of technology and engineering. These courses are offered to interested candidates in regular, offline mode. The duration of the B.Tech courses is 4 years and 2 years for M.Tech courses at JBIET Hyderabad. To become eligible for the offered courses, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria at JBIET Hyderabad to apply for these courses. To become eligible for the B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks and qualified in the TS EAMCET entrance exam as well.
